This is the home of the intersection between Judaism and Salesforce!
Come build great connections with chevre from across the ecosystem and think about Salesforce and Judaism like you never have before!
This is our original weekly discussion, dating back to around 2019. Born out of the Poway tragedy, we turned darkness into light.. for years to come.. with hundreds of warm, rich discussions.
Generally: Thursdays at noon on Gmeet
Start the work week right by learning a mitzvah!
This is the ‘learn 1 mitzvah per week’ group--15 minutes per week, with each session focused on learning 1 mitzvah.
(At this rate, it will only take us 11.7 years to get through all 613!!)
The source we'll be learning from is called "The Taryag Mitzvos" by Rabbi A. Y. Kahan
It's a great book that summarizes each of the 613 mitzvahs succinctly.
We will also use as a guide the wikipedia list of 613 commandments according to Maimonides
We can rotate who will be leading each week, reading the mitzvah of the week summary from the book, followed by group discussion.
Please sign up here to lead for specific weeks/mitzvahs
Generally: Mondays at 10am eastern on Gmeet
We meet every couple months for breakfast, dinner, or at local Trailblazer community group meetups.
For Salesforce employees, Shalomforce creates a space for employees to celebrate and share their Jewish identities while fostering collaboration and innovation. It welcomes Jewish individuals, allies, and those interested in learning more. The group builds trust through partnerships and works to combat antisemitism while promoting Jewish culture. Its mission is to empower employees to be authentic, engaged, and productive in a safe, supportive environment.
In spring of 2022 and 2023, Salesforce professionals from around the world, including France, USA, Brazil, and Singapore went to Israel for a week of volunteering, professional networking and touring, alongside Israeli Salesforce professionals.
Hopefully, we'll restart the trip soon!
